High Haven Dispensary - Elgin

Worst dispensary experience I’ve had in a long time. The new employees they hired have absolutely no respect for loyal customers who've been coming here for years. The attitude was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional from the moment I walked in. It’s crazy how fast customer service went downhill. Instead of appreciating repeat customers, they act like they’re doing you a favor by helping you. Nobody knows how to talk to people anymore. Management seriously needs to retrain their staff or hire people with basic respect and communication skills. What’s even more shady is they constantly ask people to leave good reviews so the real bad reviews get buried. That alone should tell you everything about this place. I used to recommend this dispensary to others, but after the way I was treated, I definitely won’t be coming back. I am so impressed with everything regarding this dispensary. They have some of the most knowledgeable and kind employees that work there. I had trouble with an item that I purchased and she welcomed me back into the store and the general manager solved the issue with such patience. I will continue visiting this dispensary because of the people that work there and for the products they provide. – Melissa Strutz

Great experience every time I come here! The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and very knowledgeable about the products. They take the time to answer questions and give good recommendations depending on what you’re looking for. The vibe inside is really cool and unique with the music-themed setup, and the whole place feels clean and organized. The selection is great and they often have good deals too. I've been coming to this one hard for the last couple years. I have easily spent almost 10 grand on weed there. So when I say I won't be going back I mean that with a strong stance. My visit tonight, I found that the ATMs now only let you take 100 or $200 increments out. The cheapest disposable I could find was about $30 before tax and $48 after. This has not been the case in the past. Not at all. I had a clear issue with it and I kept getting the fake attitude back like I was making a big deal out of nothing. Then there was a bunch of dismissive stuff about how it was because they were out of product or and the ATMs weren't up to them. Number one the businesses get a cut of the ATM surcharge so you guys are well aware that they're doing that. Number two. I find it hard to believe there's nothing under $30 when you usually have like $18 pens. Like a good amount of them. Number three. I don't enjoy the patronizing behavior I got. I've spent a lot of money there. I've always been polite and kind to your staff and that seemed very rude. I was already salty about the fact that I've applied multiple times and they've ignored me repeatedly when I've inquired, but to be talked to like I was a little kid tonight and more or less downplayed my concerns. I'm good. I'll find a new dispensary. What's really sad is I know almost the entire staff from different dispensaries and I'm just let down that they treat me this way when I've known them that long and I've spent that much money in the establishments that they've all worked and I've never been rude to them. I'm good dude. Between the new business practices and the staff acting that way I'm solid. I don't need to be back here. – Chris
