Budr Cannabis - West Hartford

Went today and was disappointed with my experience. No help was asked which usually they do ask and help order with me today nothing so I used the kiosk. I intended to buy 1 gram vape but accidentally ordered .5 grams instead. Got to the register the person didn’t confirm the product before purchase which they usually do and I didn’t think to check I walked out to my vehicle and saw the item wasn’t what I wanted I went right back in the front desk person told me ohh it’s okay you didn’t open it right I said no I just walked out he said things happen they will take care of you. Unfortunately the people at the register were no help and said they don’t accept returns unless there is something wrong with the item. Very disappointed I spent $61 on a .5 gram vape ! That’s insane. I would have NEVER done that knowing I can get more for the same price. They offered me a percentage off another order…… like if that was going to make it better. The return policy needs some type of change because if you aren’t going to confirm what the person is getting at the type of check out and not help something gots to give! Awesome place. Bought cannabis in West Hartford for years back in the days of my misspent youth, it was nice to finally do so legally. But really, it was a nice experience coming here. They had some interesting and different products, which is great in CT as cannabis legislation here kind of limits things, which usually sends me looking in MA at times. I was pleasantly surprised in coming here, however, and look forward to coming back. – Thomas C

I’m disappointed in how this place has changed. While the product lineup has improved overall, the staff’s enthusiasm has noticeably declined—aside from the consistently warm front desk team, who remain a bright spot. Customers may not be seeking conversation, but basic courtesy matters—especially from staff expected to offer guidance and working in a tip-optional environment. I couldn’t even get a hello, a thank-you, or acknowledgment when I offered positive feedback on a new product. This used to be my go-to, but the experience now feels flat sadly. If you’re looking for a more welcoming vibe—and essentially the same lineup, with better additions in some cases—the other local dispensaries offer a stronger all-around experience. – Brendan E

I've purchased a few times from this establishment and been satisfied unfortunately not this time. The Scout Breath – CTP THCA Infused Shorties that cost after tax $61 are not cured correctly. Impossible to pull on and have actively tried to smoke 2. They are 45.86% THC yet a $12 pre roll would have been better. Can't pull it can't smoke it. Sixty bucks down the drain. Never again Budr. If you expect premium cost, I expect premium quality. The only reason I didn't give 0 stars was because the 2 staff members were very nice and helpful. Update: called the store to let them know to not sell it to another customer and was transferred to the "manager" who just happened to be a voicemail. Update: The management called me a couple days later and was very nice and rectified the situation. I'm very happy to know that there are still some companies that care about their customers. I've changed my review to four stars because of a great staff. Thank you. – Patrick Gagnon
