Came here from out of town, way out, all the way from Texas. I was blown away and a bit overwhelmed by the selection, names, types, allowed quantity, quality, etc. I asked the awesome security guard that checks your I.D. at the front door if I could talk to someone, he sent me Rich (possibly Rick see attached photo🤷♂️). The guy was awesome, swear they sent me the only white middle age guy in the building, fair enough I know what I look like 😆. He was great, listened to me and asked multiple questions. Gave me options and even explained to me extraction processes I had no experience with (Texas hasn't caught up with y'all, we just got distillate/concentrate and its only medical). 10/10 would recommend this place. The guy that checked me out, didn't get his name but number 12, dude was awesome as well and matched my energy. – Cody Scarbrough
Omg I love rise Bethesda I’ve been coming here over 2 years if I’m not mistaken.everyone’s so kind and respectful I come from Va so it’s a bit of a ride so to get there and everyone be so nice just makes everything worth it. Matt was very welcoming and had very good energy. I had a lot of questions and he had no problem answering. I appreciate it because there was no one behind me and he didn’t rush me. It’s like going to see my tribe — the people who know you, talk with you, laugh with you, and treat you like you actually matter. I always end up in real conversations with the staff in one form or another. Nyla, Ariel, Bryant, Lauren, Fredo… and I know I’m forgetting names, but truly everyone here goes above and beyond. What makes this place special isn’t just the products (which are always on point). It’s the culture and the vibe they’ve built. You can feel it the moment you walk in. I’ve even seen them help grandmas and grandpas who come in curious and open‑minded — and honestly, it still shocks my system in the funniest way. Not in a disrespectful way at all, just my conditioned response from growing up thinking older folks only showed up to call the police about “the devil’s lettuce.” Seeing them welcomed with patience and kindness says everything about this team.
