The Travel Agency: A Cannabis Store - Union Square

Hi I stopped in today to pick up my favorite gummies. They were sold out. Caprice(please forgive me if I’m spelling your name wrong) said that he might have something else I might like. I said No. I’ve tried a bunch and this is the one I like but show me. He showed me a new one. I told him that I don’t understand anything about the different mixtures but he explained why he liked it and what the different ingredients meant. I bought them. He was so informative and knowledgeable. I found everyone was so nice. From being greeted when I came in to being thanked on the way out. Get store. Super knowledgable staff. This is by far the best dispensary I’ve been to in NY. Don’t be fooled by the fancy theme, the prices are decent. Not the absolute lowest but they’re in the ball park of where they should be, which is more than can be said for other dispensaries in the borough. The staff are very chill and friendly, even when they assist nobody is trying to push a sale onto you. They are open to all questions, and the lady checking IDs in the lobby complimented my girlfriend’s shoes which she really appreciated. This dispensary also has a really cool flowering room, when you can get a small look at the botanical side of cannabis and smell some of the “flowers” as it were. Highly recommend this dispensary, you might find slightly better prices in the borough if you shop around, but the service and experience is best here. Very disappointed with my experience at The Travel Agency yesterday. They run a promotion where spending $3000 earns you 3000 points for a free ounce. After spending a lot of money there over time, I went in expecting the promotion to be honored, only to be told “the system was down.” Funny how the system works perfectly when it’s time to take your money, but suddenly has issues when customers are supposed to receive rewards. Loyal customers spend thousands supporting this business and deserve better communication, accountability, and customer service. A promotion shouldn’t feel impossible to redeem. – R P
