This place has been my go to since they first opened up, the people are always open to helping you out with anything you need or having a conversation while you wait for your product. I remember the days before the podcasts, before nyc had dispensaries in every borough, when Happy Munkey was invite only and truly for those who knew about the culture and movement. To walk down the street in Brooklyn now and see the Happy Munkey sign and doors wide open for the people is powerful,this place isn't just a regular dispensary, it's a movement and moment and it always has been. Street roots now legal, culture preserved not diluted. Product that’s quality, but with prices for the people. I remember when they first opened up about a year ago and I stopped in then, recently they took a lil pause but are back now and better than ever but still moving with love respect and top quality product and fair pricing which speaks for itself. I stopped in last night before the snow storm to be ready, and was met genuinely with smiles, real conversation, and energy that you can't fake (I spoke to Vladimir and two other awesome gentleman) . The team is grounded, knowledgeable, about the culture, about the vibe, and most importantly real ones who are doing it for the people not just the business.
