Used to be my favorite medical dispensary but with a few caveats. First and foremost, they're closed on Saturday, which is just weird and inconvenient. Secondly, they're closed on traditional shopping holidays. For example, I wanted to go on Memorial Day but they were closed, so I couldn't take advantage of their great sales, whereas ALL the other dispensaries in the area were open. (They're apparently closed on all minor bank holidays, not just major holidays.) And this is super minor but you have to be checked in by the worker behind the bank teller type glass in an entryway and they'll only let one person in at a time. So if someone is checking in you have to wait outside in the cold until they're done and buzz the person ahead of you into the dispensary. UPDATE: Dropped another two stars because Vireo used to take $50 off a $150+ purchase the first three times you bought from them after renewing your medical certification each year. But, I was told, their out-of-state corporate office took that discount away. Boo!! As a low income medical patient I was dependent upon the $50 off discount, which I would use two or three times a year to stock up. No reason to keep doing business with them when I can go to other recreational places that are much closer and spend the same amount of money. Absolutely love this place! Deff the best in the capital region. Best quality products and the staff is outstanding, exceptional. Slightly more expensive than the others in town but it's more than worth it. – Tim Kitterman
I honestly wish they delivered like other dispensaries I love the deals but it’s very far for me since i don’t drive and can’t take public transit only way is to pay a cab and I don’t have the funds for that so since it’s medical why can’t they accommodate all customers i feel like you’d make even more money with that services added. Every interaction I have had withe Vireo staff for years has been excellent. Their products are top-rate. Their staff is incredibly helpful, knowlegeableand concerned about the client. If there is any problem with an order they call right back, let you know exactly what they need on your end to make it work, and do everything possible to make it as easy as possible to remedy the situation.
