I have been in hundreds of dispensaries (lived and still work in CA, MI and a number of other legal states, plus lived in Amsterdam and other legal locations). I walked into this dispensary and explained it's my first visit and I am an experienced user and buyer and, without consideration of cost, I'd like the best flower you have in the shop. Preferably, Indica lean, but whatever. I ended up with flower I wouldn't give away to someone I don't like. I get that brands are up and down, but they first tried to sell me Dank. Fine brand, but it is not the very BEST flower in any decent dispensary. When I pushed further, they led me to literally worse. Just admit you have no idea. Ask someone in the store who has any clue. A terrible eighth and a pack of ok gummies for $89 is insane. Very nice budtenders, but never again. Cannabis Realm has a far better selection and more knowledgeable staff. Shame – Purple Owl is much closer to me. – M Guilf
We were part of the construction of purple owls from day one. We saw the transformation from being a building to what is now. This place is an original place to be in, the set up is very cool, and they have the security place in all the store. We installed the security systems, and we can you are very secure here than any other place…beside the security, you can choose between many products they offer to purchase. From the sign, you can see how much details they put in each side of the store. Huge issue at the store, had an associate mix up a promotion and did not give the proper amount of product, went to rectify the issue and the person who stands in the back and gives the product to the cashiers- beard glasses middle aged, was rude, snapped at their employee, and did not understand the mistake in the order. Even after I asked to print out the same order I had placed days ago. The amount of product did not match – it was LESS the second time. Which can't be argued it's written on the receipt. The ad says buy 3 and get 1 for 1 penny plus spend over $100 and you get one for 1 penny. They neglected to honor the promotion as described. Was told, "we don't know why sometimes it comes up different in the system" describing ringing out the order. Which makes no sense and then he said they were trying to figure it out. Super rude, been coming here since they opened and this caused them to lose a customer. Only go here if you want to be short changed and then have it lied about and also not fixed. To be treated in a very rude and disrespectful manner. This lost them a loyal customer- since the grand opening. Even spoke in length many times with Beth, she is kind and gave a purple owl made of amethyst as a gift. This was an uncalled for situation and it is true – the response below is lies. Don't go here. I have tried a couple other dispensaries in the area, and hands down this place has them all beat. First of all – Parking, Parking, Parking! It's free! Where do you get that in downtown White Plains? The employees were kind and very helpful as I actually shop for my wife not myself. They took the time to discuss things and explain them to me unlike the other shops who seemed more concerned with just taking my money and sending me on my way. I was also pleased to hear that this is a Minority and Woman owned business that is owned and operated by LOCAL Westchester residents. Not some big out of state investment company trying to maneuver the OCM guidelines and treat every person like they are just a number. I "Highly" recommend them to all for quality service and if you care about supporting local businesses. – Bruce Lindsay
