One of the best spots for recreational bud purchase but I'm extremely disappointedat some choices management made throughout the past couple years. They definitely lowered the percentage of reward earned per dollar (compared to years prior) and discounts are not stackable with said reward dollars which was clearly a for-profit move (aka happy hour). I was definitely able to a year or two back, but I wasn't able to for quite some time now. This place has been less consumer friendly year after year. Good product, but they're trying to squeeze every penny they can. I get the taxes are high but the choice to lower reward earnings and not allowing stacking of reward dollars that we rightfully earned along with discounts (veterans discounts, happy hour, etc), was a slap in the face to me. There are many great places in East LA. It's a shame since I'm walking distance from here but I cannot support a business that eventually becomes like every other big corpo run business; squeezing every percentage of profit from every sale at the expense of a good customer experience. The product and shop itself is clean, and some bud tenders are polite and at least try to know what they're selling but again, the anti consumer practices that I've brought up makes it so that I want to look elsewhere despite having been a member here since 2017-2018. – john kim
