Hands down the best cannabis dispensary in Sandusky, Ohio! I wouldn’t have known about ASCEND Dispensary if it weren’t for my friend Chris, and I’m so glad I listened. I made a special trip just to check it out, and it was 100% worth it. The store is clean, modern, and super well-organized. They have a huge selection of THC products, from top-shelf flower and edibles to vapes and accessories. I loved how easy it was to browse with the kiosks, and the ATM on-site made checkout smooth. Chris C. made the experience even better. He is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and truly passionate about cannabis. You can tell he cares about helping people find the right products. If you’re looking for a trusted recreational and medical dispensary in Northern Ohio, definitely visit ASCEND Sandusky. Great products, great prices, and amazing staff! went here and only had my passport with me for whatever reason it wouldn’t scan and they refused to enter. The numbers manually said that it’s a state rule when I’ve literally went down the street to the forest dispensary and they were glad to help me out manually entering the numbers. It must be an ascend policy to scan. Don’t let them lie to you. Terrible customer service won’t be going here once I have a new ID definitely would not recommend this place to anyone who's in real need of medicine as u will be turned away Oh and the first two staff members to try to scan the id were fast to turn me away – Jake Gantz

If I could leave zero stars, I would. I’ve really tried to give Ascend in Perkins, Ohio a fair chance since they opened, but not once have I had a positive experience. The customer service is inconsistent at best and frustrating at worst. Every visit, I’m told a different policy or process depending on which employee I speak to — and instead of being helpful, I often feel hounded with promotions and unclear communication. Today was my final straw. My wallet was stolen this morning, and I called ahead to confirm whether I could still make a purchase with my paper ID. Maya, the employee I spoke with, assured me that as long as I was an Ohio resident with a paper ID, I would be fine. I made the hour-long drive only to be turned away because now I’m told the paper ID must be issued within the last 30 days — something that was never mentioned on the call. How could I possibly have a paper ID issued that recently when I just had my wallet stolen a few hours before? I made every effort to confirm this would be okay before making the trip. But once again, Ascend dropped the ball — and on a day that was already hard enough. I’m done giving this dispensary my time, patience, or business. There are plenty of other options in Ohio that offer better service, clearer policies, and more respect for their customers. – Adria Davison

Stopped in. First time customers, the girl in front super nice very helpful, I decided to go back in my car because I can't stay standing for to long, she answered my questions, so I went to my car so i can order online and pickup at the window. Which i did, nice website. So when I drove to the window I was told the card machine was out. Error! So I waddle in and got inside, I like the displays. The gentleman, who's name escape me, tall thin, 30ish took car of me i used the atm ($3 charge) and they were quick with my order. I asked the gentleman a few more questions, he answered satisfactory and I went on my merry way with my purchase. Pretty painless (pun) the only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 was because of the card reader other than that. It was a good first experience. – douglas reynolds
