Will no longer be shopping at Greenhouse for their Generative AI usage on their front page. For a local business whose message is anti-corporation, it is hypocritical for Greenhouse to utilize generative AI instead of employing a local artist to create a unique video. I’ve taken several screenshots attached to this review which have generative lettering which makes no sense, people’s faces and bodies being inconsistent, and a yellow “piss” filter over almost every image marking these as blatantly AI. What’s worse to me is the generated images of children, which I hope were not based on real children done without the consent of parents/guardians. There is a massive problem of gen AI being used to target children for CP and this entire video is incredibly insensitive to what is currently going on in the world. Greenhouse is now the epitome of corporate greed. Gen AI only benefits billionaires and wealthy people with investments in it. Gen AI actively hurts local communities with its water usage, job losses to an inadequate piece of software(ie poor customer service with a bot that doesn’t help solve issues), and data centers that hurts our power grid as there isn’t proper infrastructure in Michigan and the US to sustain it without negatively impacting LOCAL COMMUNITIES. This was the only dispensary I shopped at regularly, not only for the convenience but to support a locally owned business and its employees. I developed a friendly relation to the greeters and budtenders here when shopping, so it sucks that the owner/management allowed generative AI on their home page. My partner and I will be taking our business to other dispensaries in the area who do not utilize generative AI. I will be encouraging others I know to do the same. Hopefully the video will be taken down so my family, friends, our dog Jack, and I might make Greenhouse our regular shop to visit again. – Eli Franklin

Summary: This location has friendly staff and fun aesthetics, but the quality of products I received was poor and hardly functional. I haven't been to Greenhouse in a while, since there's a dispensary that's closer to me now with more competitive prices, but I came by Greenhouse of Walled Lake today, since I was nearby, to pick up a few pre-rolls from the med side and give it another chance. Unfortunately for me, all three joints are extreme hard and won't stay lit. It feels like its full of glue or marbles, or all melted together or something, very strange and rather disappointing. The fact that it wouldn't even stay lit after multiple tries is concerning and leaves me questioning their quality assurance of the products they support and sell, especially to medical patients. If you value product quality over atmosphere, I would recommend shopping elsewhere. If you like the experience of shopping at a store more than the purchase itself, maybe this would be your cup of tea. They do have cool decor, for what it's worth. – Doug Harvey

Was a big supporter of this dispensary until they started using ai and expressed explicit support of it’s usage. It’s a shame, they were my favorite dispensary and I’d been a customer for a long time. However if they’re willing to cut corners like this, I wouldn’t trust their cannabis either, as a lack of ethics is indicative of their quality as a business. They’ve lost a long time customer and I’ll be taking my business to a more ethical dispensary that doesn’t cut corners. – Leon Kennedy

Just wanted to updated that I sent the information requested.)I was just there last night with my girlfriend, who was a first time customer as well as it being her birthday. We were excited for the deal of her being a first time customer and fully expecting to max out those benefits. After being hurried through the buying process with no one else behind us in line we only spent a little bit of time and money there since we felt uncomfortable to do anymore. I wish I wouldn't have to leave this review but after driving 35 mins each way to go specifically here the customer service was sub par. – Chase Springsteen

Shoutout to Shannon! I inquired about her day and she was having car problems on a crazy snowy day. But she still gave me fantastic and informative customer service while juggling multiple tasks and with a smile.
