My husband and I were very excited to visit the Bloomery New Buffalo, while visiting Chicago. We decided to take the drive and make it an experience since it was our first time in a dispensary. In our excitement we did not check the receipt until we got back to our hotel in Chicago. Being first time customer we were supposed to get 30% off prepacked flower and 50% off prerolls and vapes. None of the products we purchased were listed as exclusions. We also asked the budtender if Superdope was included in the 30% off and he said yes. BTW- The bud tender was very friendly. Upon checking the receipt we noticed that none of the Superdope products (flower and prerolls) were discounted. We did receive 30% discount on the other products including Doja, Wojo, 710 Labs, and Good Tide. The store was closed at this point, so my husband called the next morning and explained what happened to Amy. Amy said a supervisor would be in touch. We waited and when we did not receive a call back, my husband called again 2 more times. We flew back home without hearing back from the supervisor. This sale occurred on December 26. We came back to Chicago in February and decided to take a trip and talk to a supervisor in person. The supervisor was polite. She pulled up the receipt and said Superdope products are never discounted. First she said she could give us $62 credit, which we did not accept, then she said $106 but would have to talk to the Owner. When she came back she said the Owner said no credit and she tried to give us some random flower. We said okay we'll take the $106 credit and make a purchase. She said the Owner said no credit would be honored at all. If they would have honored there first time customer discount, we were due $137 ($55 pre-rolls – 50% = $27.5 and $300 flower – 30% = $90 plus the tax we paid on this equals the $137 credit). We are conscious consumers and were purchasing gifts for family and friends. We educate ourselves on the flower as well as the company who grow the flower. We do and will spend top $ on quality products. A first time discount is only for the first time however then you are a customer for life when treated well and fairly. Not only did you lose what could have been a great consumer for your business, you lost others too. My family who frequented your establishment will no longer do so because of how this situation was handled. Look at our receipt and how much was spent on our first visit. Jayda was excellent and attentive. She did not rush through our transaction and took the time with us. She was also able to answer all of our questions we had as well.
