I visited this store last week for the first time. I've been on the hunt for dispensaries that are more…legit…per se. I've also been looking for some variety in the recreational flower arena. This has proved to be a challenge. I found out about this shop from a Reddit referral. After checking the website, I saw they were carrying strains from a company – Unbound Cannabis [photo attached] – I had been very interested in sampling. Unbound has some of the higher THC/terpene levels I've seen and have been mostly-disappointed with many of the other brands on the recreational market. I grabbed the Hawaiian Fanta strain and it did not disappoint. The buds were really good sized…super green…and…sticky-icky. YES PLEASE! ^_^ The owner, Josh, was SO down to Earth. We chatted about the stuff I mentioned above: low THC levels/Unbound's products/the market/etc. His prices are lower than the competitors for some of the same products. I'll always choose to support locally when the option is the best and in this case, it absolutely was. The vibe of the dispensary is low-key and personal…charming even. Josh turned me on to using hemp wicks to light my bowls versus lighters. I'm a fan! The shop is located in Uptown, which always makes parking fun. Besides the expected paid parking out front, there is free parking just down the block on any of the side streets. This was such a chill experience. Have you ever been greeted at a dispensary by the owner strumming a ukulele? Thanks to Josh, now I can say that I have and ✨what a delight it was. ✨This little gem in uptown is definitely worth the visit. I’m from Colorado and dispensaries are (literally) on every corner.
