Liberty Cannabis Somerville is always such a bright, beautiful store with tons of options — and prices that are genuinely hard to beat (especially on vape cartridges). I always have such a great experience here. Everyone is friendly and not in the “I have to” but in the “they just are” kind of way. I’ve never smelled body odor from any staff. There are some characters that walk in but that’s not something the business has control over. I come in from a long hard day tired and beat up and this place turns my day around. It feels like a really sweet local spot that takes great care of their community. I’m also obsessed with their STRANE flower. The lemonade maraschino smokes slowly but doesn’t clog and makes me just happy to be alive. Couldn’t say more about spending your money here for all of your marijuana needs. Make no mistake.I think Garcia Hand-picked is some of the best flower in the northeast. I drive almost an hour into the city, just to get it. The flower is good enough To make the trip. Until today. The employee that helped me on the medical side today absolutely acted as if he could not be bothered. I asked about specials just to have a flyer on the counter shoved at me. Sorry. But I don't need to read the entire page when I'm only looking for a specific thing.. Would it be too much to ask what I actually was looking for? I asked about a special that the store had run in the past, and got a word reply of "no". This person seriously acted as if this was the last place he wanted to be , and I was the last CUSTOMER he wanted to help. Plenty of other places will treat me way way better. – Scott Bolton

Buyer beware. The Somerville location refuses to honor the promotions advertised on their website, which feels deceptive and misleading. On top of that, the manager and employee were rude throughout the interaction. When the manager finally came out, he didn’t speak, acknowledge me, or make any effort to address the issue. I wouldn’t recommend trusting their online deals or expecting decent customer service here. – melanie brown

Staff is great. Unfortunately, selection is limited especially in the vaporizer category, and they do not accept cash which is barbaric in such a walkable neighborhood. To tip things finally into the "no return" category, one is assaulted by a strong body odor smell upon entering the front check in area, regardless of who is checking you in. – Terence Curran
