I was so excited to have found such a gem in my new neighborhood. I've now been living in Hobart for a year. I've gone in a number of times. 80% of the time I walk out feeling flustered and cheated. I took an elderly friend and BudHut utterly ripped her off. And then had the audacity to get upset with her because she wasn't fast enough to say, "do you have a senior discount?", before they rang her up. She ended up just paying the bill because she felt so bullied. GROSS! wanna keep your customers returning in the long run? Respect and common decency. Don't get me wrong, there are a couple of very kind people that keep that place running. They seem to all keep leaving though, like your customers. Also, maybe you should take some of these reviews to heart, instead of telling us we're all wrong. CASE AND POINT! – Angella Hartung

Every other time I visit this location I have a pleasant experience, especially with the manager they have on most nights. I do not know his name but he seriously has some of the best customer service I’ve ever seen. The issue I have and why I have given 2 stars is because the last 2 times I have received cartridges from this location they have both tasted like it was empty, even though it was a BRAND NEW CARTRIDGE. At most dispensaries you can return them within the exchange policy and get a new proper functioning cartridge. The first time this happened at Bud Hut I returned within the 3 day return policy and had no issue getting a new cartridge that worked correctly and tasted like a good normal crystal clear cartridge with the great customer service manager I mentioned. (I WANT TO BE VERY CLEAR, THERE IS AN OBVIOUS NOTICE WHEN YOU GET A DEFECTIVE CARTRIDGE. IT TASTES LIKE BATTERY ACID AND EXACTLY LIKE AN EMPTY CARTRIDGE, LETS OUT BARLEY ANY SMOKE ETC. IVE BEEN USING CRYSTAL CLEAR CARTRIDGES AT OTHER LOCATIONS FOR YEARS. IT IS VERY EASY TO TELL THE DIFFERENCE. Today 4/27 I purchased a cartridge that was again defective. When I went to exchange it as it was the same day, a person who I have never seen in there who claimed to be the manager (MISTY) told me she couldn’t return it because I didn’t like the taste. I tried multiple times to explain the issue but she refused to listen even when I brought up my past experience of returning a cartridge for the same issue. She said her bosses would not approve that return. WHAT RETURN WOULD THEY APPROVE THEN?? Great so now I just wasted money, have to go find business elsewhere just because a “Manager” named Misty doesn’t care about the customers experience and can’t fix a simple mistake that is white common. It sucks to leave this review because everybody else I’ve dealt with there is great. But this is just UNACCEPTABLE – Jordan Moa

I love the budtenders here! They’re so nice are such a big help when I go in for my restocks. I LOVE getting their recommendations on product to buy. They’re so genuine and helpful and really seem to care about your experience. Coolest staff ever. Plus great selection of bud of course. – mar

This location has the highest prices in the entire area. 420 Marley and ephorium are much more affordable with tons of deals. DO NOT USE THE ATM THEY WILL CHARGE YOU TWICE . Once during the transaction and then another the next morning. – Jennifer Bolton

This review is for the Maple Valley location. I always start with the positive. The staff was well dressed, friendly, and helpful. The selection was poor in quality and number. There were no ounces of strong Indica in the shop. Just indica leaning hybrids.The hybrid OZs that they showed me were almost $400 when I get them for $215 in the Tacoma/Olympia area for the same brands. In this case it was Plaid Jacket product. Brand for brand it’s $10-$20 an 1/8th less to buy where I live in WA. That’s a massive difference. Paying $100 per quarter is 2002 pricing and highway robbery. If the towns taxes are the reason for this alone, I hope the owner holds them responsible and shares this review to enlighten them of their greed. But yeahhhh unfortunate this was the representation of what locals call the best in town. – Brock Lorentzon
