First and foremost, I want to emphasize how much I’ve genuinely enjoyed supporting this woman owned small business. I’ve never minded paying the higher than average prices compared to other local dispensaries because the experience consistently felt worth it. Interactions with staff like Madison, Bailey, and the gentleman from Ohio State have always been warm, helpful, and personable. Their friendliness alone justified the premium, and I was happy to support them. Unfortunately, my boyfriend and I had an extremely disappointing experience today that completely changed our perception of Callie’s. This issue did not involve an employee, but rather a family member of the establishment, Jeremy. His demeanor was unwelcoming, abrasive, and, at one point, he nearly insulted my boyfriend over a simple question. The interaction was so uncomfortable that I stopped the sale entirely and told my boyfriend we needed to leave immediately. I cannot in good conscience continue supporting a business that publicly prides itself on values and community, yet allows someone representing the ownership to belittle customers (especially those who have been loyal and have spent well over $1,000 with them.) As long as Jeremy remains involved with the company, we will not be returning. It’s deeply disappointing to feel so let down by a place we once enjoyed recommending. If you’re looking for great products at fair prices and consistently pleasant customer service, I strongly suggest visiting LivWell just five minutes down the road. The quality, pricing, and professionalism there are far more aligned with what customers deserve. – Rawad Baz

I had a totally unexpected and memorable encounter today that made me want to give Callie’s a shoutout, even though I had never heard of them before this morning. I was at a bagel shop and noticed a guy wearing a Callie’s sweatshirt that genuinely made me laugh. It said, “My mom sells your mom weed.” I tapped him on the shoulder to tell him how funny it was. His name was Charles, and without hesitation, he literally stood up, took the sweatshirt off his back, handed it to me, and said, “It’s yours, you should have it.” I should also mention it's 30 degrees outside. It was such a fun and surprising moment and it showed what amazing marketing can look like. If someone is that enthusiastic about representing your brand, you are clearly doing something right. Callie’s is my favorite cannabis shop around! They’re a bit smaller of a franchise and this one specifically is family owned which I love. They’re always friendly and informative of their products. They have a great selection of everything and if you like edibles this is the place to go! They have everything. They’re super organized and good energy all around :) – Dakota G
