I feel terrible leaving this review, as I very rarely feel the need to leave a bad google review. I always wanted to try Davis Family Farms from the minute I discovered it. It just sounded like an awesome, affordable, local dispensary with great local weed. I was wrong. From the get go, the budtender behind the counter was a child no doubt. Unless I’m just terrible at judging, he looked 14. I wasn’t ID’ed. I don’t mind spending the extra money for good stuff, so when I paid the $58 I paid for the 1/4, I didn’t mind at all. So long as it was good stuff and coming from a good local grow. I was wrong again and regret it. Although it looked pretty good, and the buds were big, smelt alright, the 1/4 I got was from august of 2024. Almost a YEAR old. It smoked worse than anything I’ve ever smoked. Very charcoaly. Not flushed correctly at all. The taste got so bad that I was gagging and it was hurting my friend’s lungs. I don’t know if these plants are sprayed or something. They were overly moist and probably bud-rot (although I’m not educated enough to tell). I’ve never not been able to finish a joint because I’m grossed out, but halfway through one of these and I had to throw it out. Again, I feel horrible leaving such a poor review because I never even leave reviews, but I wasted $60 of my money in this economy to just toss it in the trash. Unfortunate. – Joey Leary
