After a long day of work my husband stopped in and was denied sale because the lady working said he smelled like alcohol I was with him literally ALL day. We detail cars for a living. I could understand if he smelled like he had been in the heat all day but alcohol… definitely not. The thing that also gets me is he wasn’t slurring or staggering or speaking gibberish, in my personal experience selling alcohol the smell is only ONE of a number of signs to look for. My husband and I RARELY drink and when we do it’s for a special occasion such as one of our birthdays as in his or mine or MAYBE 4th of July. Needless to say, we won’t be back! Too bad because the guy that works/worked there is very nice! – Amanda Valdez
