So I'm assuming my review will fall on blind eyes because after all, we are talking about stoners here. However this is my experience and take from this what you will seeing as how reviews are how we judge businesses now. If you don't care about customer service and you just want to get in and get your stuff and get out then read no further, because this doesn't concern you. Being in customer service most of my life and owning my own business, I know a thing or two about taking care of customers. At the end of the day they pay the bills, and taking a moderate hit up front on a return if a customer is dissatisfied can MAKE you money in the long-run if you have a repeat customer (which I am/was). Even so, a first-time customer can become a life-long customer if the service is impeccable. That being said, to me, the decision made today by the store associate was baffling to say the very least–and due to this fact I will no longer be giving my money to this establishment. Which is too bad for them because I have spent a lot of money here. I called yesterday because an Indica vape pen which I had purchased for my wife was defective and never worked out of the box. I asked the store associate what we could do about it, because I've never made a return at this store before, and was never told what the return policy was/is. She informed me that it was 3 days, and asked when I purchased it. I said a week because I had no idea. I am working full-time and getting my masters with two young children at home. No clue when I actually got it but it was fairly recently. She was very polite and said just this once I could swap it for something that worked. Got it! I was informed of the return policy and I was going to make the swap. I thought "good customer service!" I thought "this is why I drive out of my way past other dispensaries to come to this location." I was wrong. I drove the 20 miles out of my way to return this item and the associate who I spoke with over the phone yesterday was fortunately the one who assisted me today. "What luck!" I thought to myself. "No detailed explanation necessary." She asked for my account phone # which I gave her, and she goes "oh…this was purchased a month ago! I can't in good conscious return this. If it was a week maybe. But a whole month?" First off…who cares?? If it was 1 week or 1 year, you said you were going to return it. End of story. My life is hectic and I drove out of my way to come here. I would have just thrown it in the trash and been done with it otherwise. 2nd…is really not SWAPPING, not returning, but SWAPPING out for a more expensive brand where I would pay the difference, the hill you want to die on? This is in light of the fact that I explained to her I was also going to be buying edibles as well. So let's take inventory for a moment. I get I screwed up on the date of my purchase and I should have tested the item out immediately because nothing in this world is built to last anymore and everything is cheaply made, but is that worth losing a customer over? Especially a repeat customer? I'm in here almost weekly. It makes no sense. I would have spent more today than i did on the defective vape i purchased a month ago. That lack of thought and care that exuded itself throughout our conversation is exactly why I will be taking my business elsewhere. Like who does that? If that were me…I woulda been like "ewww…you know it's been more than a week right? Im sure you just forgot. I'll take this back. Let me just remind you this is a one time thing and our return policy is 3 days." Done and done. No fuss, no muss. Instead you lost out on thousands of dollars of profit for a cheap Indica vape. 🤷♂️ To be fair she offered me 15% off, which doesn't even cover the gas, or the ridiculous surcharge they make you pay with every debit card purchase.
