Zen Leaf Dispensary Chicago (Rogers Park)

I got assistance immediately — which I néeded, since it was my first visit ever. Saige was bright as the sun☀️, and answered my questions with knowledgeable ease. As part of my orientation, he expeditiously opened an account for me. Then he took me on a Zen Leaf verbal adventure by giving Company information, discussing product taste — and explaining the expected effect of each edible. Saige wisely helped me select an assortment that will definitely meet my needs. (Well, most of them) I appreciate the high quality customer service and the engaging friendliness of your salespeople (Saige!). I look forward to a gummy fruitful association with your company. They put one or 2 cashier and they always take medical customers first while the recreational line is all the way to the door. Now I understand the priority of medical patients, but having one or two cashiers especially on busy days like weekends- is bad managment. By the time they finish with one medical another comes in which they have to take first off course, and by the time that one finishes another comes and another, and so on. You can easily spend about 20, 30 minutes, waiting for your turn to come. Plus the customers that open never-ending conversations with the cashiers, and some try to get educated about cannabis. Also some cashiers are very very slow with the process. – Just

This is by far the worst dispensary I’ve been to in the city of Chicago. They are so unorganized and never have more than 1 person working the register. You will be waiting there at least 30min-1hr regardless of how long the line is. There is absolutely no point in placing a preorder or even placing an order in the shop at the kiosks before getting in line. Everyone waits in the same line to go to the same register and it takes FOREVER. Oh but don’t worry, if you know someone who works there or you have a medical card you’ll get to cut in front of everyone. It’s a super unethical system. They need a complete overhaul of how they structure their lines. No one should be allowed to stand in line until they’ve placed an order at the kiosk or online. That’s how literally every other dispensary in the city operates and bc of that lines move dramatically faster. I will be avoiding zen leaf at all costs moving forward, and if you’re reading this you should too. – Emma Moris

My first review was out of frustration because it does seem like it takes a lot longer than it should. But the staff is always very nice. And I appreciate the responsiveness of the staff following up with me here. – Michael McLean

Had to come back here to update my review because I hate going here so much. The prices are the only reason that keeps me coming back. But if there’s any kind of like expect to wait 30+ minutes. This place is horribly managed and probably understaffed. There’s always not enough people behind the counter and someone upfront to help people do orders. But if there’s a long line and no one else coming in like hop behind the counter!!! I hate waiting here so much and watching it be horribly run – Jose Alexander
