I had a great experience here on June 21st, which is exactly why this return visit was so disappointing. During my most recent visit, there was a complete lack of consistency and training at the front desk. I provided a valid CT DMV document that I had already been reassured would be accepted, yet two employees refused to validate it, claiming it needed additional requirements that were never clearly explained. The situation dragged on unnecessarily, and communication was poor throughout. It ultimately took a third employee from management to step in and confirm that my documentation was, in fact, valid. That alone highlights the issue/staff should be properly trained on verification procedures so customers aren’t left frustrated, waiting, and second-guessing themselves. What should have been a quick, routine process turned into a stressful and unnecessarily drawn-out experience. This feels like a clear training issue, particularly with the front desk staff involved. I hope management takes this seriously and ensures better consistency moving forward, because the difference between my first visit and this one was night and day. – Brx R

Fine Fettle in Newington just lost a loyal customer. I spent about $120 and they refused to accept $10 in rolled quarters because the manager said she did not want to count them. Imagine refusing legal U.S. currency because counting it is apparently too much work. The manager was rude, unprofessional, and clearly did not care about customer service. Saying they “do not take cash” while refusing quarters is ridiculous. The problem was not policy, it was attitude. If management cannot handle a simple transaction without being disrespectful, that says everything about how this place is run. I will not be back, and I would not recommend this location to anyone expecting basic professionalism or respect. – Luis Rodriguez

I miss this Newington Fine Fettle. The Manchester branch added medical but they don’t have pre order line. Other medical people in line said the same thing so it’s not just me. Also, they couldn’t find my DCP approved provider, and I didn’t feel like waiting longer because I had a ride waiting. Today I go to get it and they had to get a manager AGAIN, to give me my birthday discount they offered yesterday. (It’s still June today) Inconsistent and no note that I had to come back. If an APRN gets my renewal card activated, she should come up. She asked me what Dispensary I go to. “She’s not in OUR system,” sounds weird. I’ve changed providers 3 X’s over 13 years and had no problems. I’m driving the extra mile to NEWINGTON because I always have a phenomenal experience here. – Anne-Kristine Blake

I had preordered gummies. So convenient to have an ATM available. Perfect timing, only 1 person being helped when I got there. Very friendly and welcoming employee. No issues, in and out. – Mary Ann Privitera
