Fine Fettle in Newington just lost a loyal customer. I spent about $120 and they refused to accept $10 in rolled quarters because the manager said she did not want to count them. Imagine refusing legal U.S. currency because counting it is apparently too much work. The manager was rude, unprofessional, and clearly did not care about customer service. Saying they “do not take cash” while refusing quarters is ridiculous. The problem was not policy, it was attitude. If management cannot handle a simple transaction without being disrespectful, that says everything about how this place is run. I will not be back, and I would not recommend this location to anyone expecting basic professionalism or respect. – Luis Rodriguez
I just have to say , I am BEYOND grateful for the employees at Fine Fettle !!! I came here on 04/7/2026 , I’m a new single mom and I have no help from outside sources to stay with my baby while I made this quick run so before coming in I wanted to make sure I was gonna be able to purchase and I got the green light that I could go since my baby is a newborn and I would have had my order delivered but I wasn’t gonna make it on time . Long story short , the employees where so welcoming and understanding when I arrived , not only that but after I made my purchase I went outside to wait for my uber that was 20 min away and while I was waiting outside, an employee came outside and told me I could wait in the lobby area where they had seating . It’s already hard enough being a single mom of a newborn and their employees made things so much easier and they were so sweet !!thank you guys so much for!!
