Chesapeake Apothecary - White Plains

This was my husband and i’s go to shop for the most part . Mostly just convenience cause we live 10 minutes up the road. The store is clean and well kept.Prices can be a little high but the gas it would take to get to the next store from their cost the same. So we usually ignore it . I’ve only ever had an issue with one budtender . But after this weekend we will probably be shopping less here. We stopped in for the 420 event . We ended up with the gentleman we usually have an issue but I just kept my mouth shut cause it isn’t a big deal. Well he forgot half our order and when I wrote it down because he asked he still didn’t give us what we ordered . BUT HE DID MAKE TIME TO ADD HIS OWN RECOMMENDATION WITHOUT TALKING TO US. When I finally broke down and called the store to say something since this is the 3 rid 4th time I’ve dealt with him and it happens every time. I figured the manager would wanna know . I was on hold for like 15-20 minutes because the gentleman I was talki my too said that seemed like he needed to get a higher up manager. then they picked the phone up and hung up on me and my husband and I heard a half conversation of “I don’t wanna deal with this “ then the call ended. We where appalled, up until this point we have never had an issue with anyone else and the customer service was stellar! I just figured the manger would wanna know that they could be selling much more stuff and this guy is choosing not too! I was short between both orders about $500 worth of a sale. But bright news one of the recommendations that I didn’t catch he added in was solid . Great for migraines (jacks delight) I just wish he would of ran it by me before he added stuff without asking. You even had me write stuff down! – Beks C.

Place is only cool if dispensary works is closed. If you suddenly think to cop last minute before they close like me (unless you’re going to be here before 9:55) save yourself the trip. They lock their doors before 10pm. Dispensary works will stay open until their end time, best thing about them and their sales. I will admit, Chesapeake definitely has a more sleek vibe tho. Very Secure Building. I worked on my family’s food truck for their 4/20 event. The place is definitely secured in and out. There is a great amount of parking, the curbside seems efficient. I watch many people pull up and get their goodies. The staff was very attentive from watching the clients go in and out quickly for hours – Rodne't Sewell

I've been to a lot of dispensaries in the Maryland area, this one has the coziest atmosphere. The lobby area in particular is a nice place to sit, which is a net positive considering how busy the place can get on the weekends. Whomever was the interior designer for the inside of the dispensary (store area) must have really loved going to places like TGI Fridays as the walls are littered with knickknacks and stuff (a "newspaper(?)" wall)… very interesting, very cool. Now the product here that they sale isn't packaged on site, so unfortunately you can't see the flower before buying it (Oh boo hoo). However it's 2024, cultivators are really good at batching their stuff up before it's bought by a dispensary, so I've never really had a bad batch and can't complain. The prices? Oh my god, they're SO JUICY. Their pricing for 7g… in my opinion… ain't to shabby, $80, no one's wallet has to die. The staff there are always very welcoming and willing to answer any questions that I may have regarding things like terpene levels or staff personal picks of the day. Honestly given the area that this dispensary is in I can see why the staff are the way they are… Capital Heights, this is not. I can wholeheartedly recommend this place to shop for tree… 100% Bonus round: Mike, one of the staff, +1 for awesome name.
