Drop-in visit at Ascend Belleville was worth every bit of a $200+ trip. The Space & Staff: They have a wonderful, clean building that is easy to navigate. The staff here is excellent—incredibly friendly and highly knowledgeable when you have questions about specific setups or strains. Selection: They have a massive inventory covering just about every delivery method you could want, from flower and vapes to cartridges and gummies. The Haul: I picked up an Ozone brand indica vape and some of their flower to try out next, alongside a Maui Wowie sativa vape that has been absolutely excellent for energetic, daytime use. Their local Illinois vendors are producing some phenomenal, high-quality cannabis right now. Bonus: The recent law change increasing the legal purchase and possession grams for out-of-state guests is awesome and made filling up the basket completely hassle-free.Easily my go-to dispensary in the area. Nice clean environment. Reasonable service fee at the atm $3.50. I purchased a disposable 2 gram vape on sale for $57 and paid $78 for it at the counter. The sales rep at the counter was very friendly. Overall it was a pleasant experience except the extra $21 dollar tax. – Raynard Hunt
