Very bad experience. I went into the dispensary & before I handed him my ID I said I have the five items to donate so I can get the penny item. He checked me in & asked if I checked all of the dates on the food to make sure that they weren’t expired to which I replied yes, they are all 2026 or 2027 dates. I get behind the door to speak to the buddtender and say I’m looking to do the bam pre-roll deal and I would like to get the cherry moon and then she goes OK the pre-selected pre-roll is the rainbow runts and I said OK and then she said would you like an eighth of weed or a stiiizy pod I said I would like the eighth of weed, please thank you and then she said unfortunately, we are out of the eighth of weed then talked to someone in the office. Maybe they’re trying to resolve the situation because she’s talking to somebody in the office. This is not my bad I did not cause a problem here this is their mistake for not informing me before I came through the threshold of the door and then even further offering me the eighth of weed. so you would think that they would make good on their mistake. She walked back over to the register with the stiiizy pod. I asked do you guys offer rain checks? I got told No we don’t offer rain checks. Well do you guys know when your next shipment is coming in because I’d happily come back when you have it available. I got told no they don’t know when their next promotional shipment is coming in. Then the buddtender proceeded to tell me that I should get the stiiizy pod, but that it needs a special battery. I explained that in the very beginning, I did not have the special battery that the stiiizy pod needs that’s why my decision was to go for the 1/8 of weed. Then I got told because I do not have the tool to smoke the pod that you guys run deals on Wednesdays for stiiizy products, which includes this special battery and that I need to come back and purchase it if I want to be able to smoke the penny item. I said absolutely not no way that is not in any way fair to me that you guys want me to spend a penny and then come back and spend God knows what to be able to access the penny item. Is it really a penny at that point? Total unwanted upsell & felt inappropriate. Like my donation was getting Exploited. Then very rudely the guy that was standing next to my budtender I could see that she was getting uncomfortable with my directness, and she looked over to the guy that was standing next to her, and it was a look of like I’m a damsel in distress please help me and it made me feel so uncomfortable like I was being a horrible person because I can’t afford to spend more money in your guys store. The guy rudely and very verbally aggressively said well that’s what we have and we don’t do rain checks and do you want your donation food back? I said yes I guess this is a sign that I’m not going to make a purchase here tonight and then the guy walked me to the entry door opened it and right before I left. He said you know next time before you come, you should call us to ask that question. It was very clear that my presence or my money was not wanted there. I got literally told that I should have called before I came in because of how badly they did not want to deal with me. They didn’t even want me to be there in person because supposedly I should have known to call to ask about The promotional deal beforehand if you guys still have any products available for that. I understand that it’s until supplies last however when your supplies run out customers need to be informed regardless if it was for the stiiizy pot or the eighth of weed. So customers can make informed decisions. If everybody would’ve done their job correctly in the first place, employee and customer wouldn’t have had to be put through any of this uncomfortable situation. – Kayla Moore
Battleborn Dispensary in Mound House, NV is easily the best STORE I have ever been too. The place is immaculate, the prices and deals are very good and the service is exceptional! All the folks are great there, Kristin, Candy, Paul and the rest. Special shoutout though to Dylan, whose knowledge, care and warmth are off the charts. If I ever needed to work again, my first application goes to this fine establishment. It has the vibe of a family-owned business…a happy family! – Umpa
