Today was my very first experience with any dispensary and I was pleasantly surprised by the ease of the process and how uncomplicated it was. I’ve never encountered such unprofessional and uncomfortable treatment at a business. The security guard at this location, particularly the individual with orange hair, exudes an openly hostile and, frankly, racially biased demeanor. Rather than providing a neutral and safe presence, he appears more focused on profiling people before they even enter the premises. His conduct is aggressive, inappropriate, and entirely unfit for someone in his role. Adding to the frustration, the staff at this location do not seem to follow their own stated policies. The store is advertised to close at 1:00 PM, yet I arrived several minutes before that and was still turned away, with no acknowledgment of the time or the effort I made to get there. This isn’t just poor time management; it reflects a lack of respect for customers and basic service standards. Overall, the atmosphere here is unwelcoming. The energy feels cold, judgmental, and dismissive. If you’ve ever walked in and felt uncomfortable, trust that instinct. It’s not just you. I gave this location multiple chances, hoping for a better experience, but the issues have been consistent each time. I won’t be returning, and I can’t recommend this place to anyone who expects to be treated with even a minimal level of decency or respect That said, I won’t fault the company as a whole. Other locations have been a breeze to deal with. This issue seems isolated to the Suffolk location – Ori Monikee

This place has to be paying for, or otherwise scamming their reviews in some way. NO ONE I have met who has bothered to get their medic card "likes" this place, people with no other options simple TOLERATE it out of nessecity if trying to stay on the right side of the lay, and get safe products reliably. Anyone who has given this place more than 1 star likes getting ripped off and DOES NOT know or appreciate cannabis. The prices here are so stupidly high, and the clerk knew less about cannabis than ME. Paid $50 for an eighth of Honeydew that was absolute BUNK, dry, tasted like crap, barely gave me a buzz, let alone the "medical benefits" I was paying for and needed. $30 for a 1/3rd gram "pen' that was also bunk, and was in ANCIENT hardware that clogs, isn't rechargeable, and that NO ONE in the real cannabis industry anywhere has used in YEARS. This is why we need REAL retail sale in Virginia, too bad the recent bill still doesn't solve anything when they are only issuing 350 licenses for the whole state. This state is screwing up cannabis in EVERY way, for both businesses and the cannabis industry as a whole, and consumers. The ONLY people benefitting from legal cannabis in Virginia are large companies, and politicians, neither of who belong in, are welcome in, or will EVER really be successful in the cannabis industry. Meanwhile, state with REAL legal cannabis will reap the economic AND social benefit (proven lower crime, etc) that REAL legal cannabis brings. Too bad people seem to still think either two sides of the same coin will ever change that. If we want change, we need to demand and force it. Period. – B J

EDIT: their solution was to offer me a 20% discount in exchange for me deleting my review and changing it to 4/5 stars. Absolutely disgusting business and just goes to show how fluffed up their reviews are. What a joke. Google should delete their page for falsifying reviews, and the FTC should investigate them as well, seeing as how it violates regulations against false or untrue reviews. Original: This place has consistently let me down. Giving me the wrong order Trying to scam me out of my refund / exchange that they owed me per policy. And now closing their doors early with no warning to the public because ‘they already counted their drawers’ this is hands down the worst business to deal with period. It amazes me that they’re open. Short white ginger security guard has a huge attitude issue and last thing he needs is power to exercise over somebody. I sat and listened to him basically pick a fight and smile in the face of another customer while what I think was the general manager eagerly tried to push him back into the building, all while hes STILL running his mouth to a customer who is trying to figure out why they’re closed early. This whole scene was like something out of jersey shore. The whole situation from start to finish was handled so grossly and poorly by cannabist staff. The security guard is a punk just looking for a fight and to run his mouth. The crazy thing is I even piped up and had to tell the security guard he was being ridiculous acting like a child, and all he could do was smile and give me a thumbs up while his manager shoved him back into the building. Someone needs to be fired for this. As a business owner myself i would have chained the front doors after what i just witnessed, fired everyone, and started over from scratch.
