This location has been my neighborhood dispensary for several years, and I’ve usually had great experiences. The deals are consistently good, and most of the staff have always been friendly and professional.
However, since a particular employee was hired, my visits (especially drive‑thru pickups) have become increasingly uncomfortable. He regularly asks about my zodiac sign or personal life in ways that feel intrusive rather than friendly. Because this happens every time he assists me, I’ve started to dread placing pickup orders or using the drive‑thru at all. I also never receive a survey after interactions with him, unlike with other employees, so this review is the only way I can share this feedback.
Today’s visit was especially disappointing. When I arrived to pick up an online order, the same employee and another male employee with a similar hairstyle spent the interaction pretending to be the same person (switching places behind the door, laughing, and rushing me through the process). It doubled the time it should have taken, left me sitting in the snow with my window down longer than necessary, and came across as mocking rather than playful. These two individuals look nothing alike, so the joke felt unnecessary and unprofessional.
It’s frustrating that every time I place an online order, this employee seems to treat it as an opportunity to behave this way, despite my remaining polite and professional.
Curaleaf, I hope you consider retraining staff on professionalism and appropriate customer rapport. This location has been great for years, and I’d love to feel comfortable returning to the level of service I used to experience. – newsundaymorning
Came in about a week ago. Was recommended this place by a friend. It was a bit busy. I went to check in as a new medical patient with the store associate with thin dreads. As I was waiting my turn, He was checking in someone else. He was extremely disrespectful and rude to this person. When asked simple questions he was extremely stand-offish and sucked his teeth while rolling his eyes visibly. It got to the point another associate had to apologize on his behalf after witnessing the incident.
I ended up not purchasing, I left right there as I did not want to deal with such an angry person as a new customer. Today, The friend who recommended me just told me not to come again as the guy who previously had that incident with someone, was working there and was extremely disrespectful in the drive thru and passive aggressive the whole time.
