Dunegrass Co. - TC West

You were my favorite place to shop on a weekly basis. Unfortunately not any more. You passed that new 24% wholesale tax on to your customers. This is terrible, and I know others that won't write reviews they just won"t shop at dunegrass any more. You get to buy at a wholesale level. Your customers do not. You as a business should be responsible for that tax, not your customers. Since you implemented the tax I know others that will never leave a tip again because of the tax. Hope you pay your staff more with this money. This tax adds an additional $9.60 to a $60.00 order. Taxes are now $21.15 on a $60 order. Outrageous…… Also you used to give 33% off on Monday for loyalty members. That also stopped but if you read about the loyalty program on your page it states that you still offer that Monday discount. You might want to change that because its false advertising. You should also know that other provisioning centers are not passing the wholesale tax on to thier customers. Easy to find them and that is where I and many others now shop. In reference to your response you do not have to pass that on too your customers, you will loose them because of it. Other places do not charge the wholesale tax. Life is all about choices I have made mine, and you have made yours to pass this on to your customers. The lawmakers dont care I have called, the only thing they care about is money just like you do. Its called greed and thier customers this tax. It is a wholesale tax, your customers should not have to foot this bill for you. I know that it will cost you business so I hope its worth it for you. – Tropical Sunshine

Went with my fiance yesterday to do running in the Chums/Grawn area, and we decided to stop and pickup some goodies. When my fiance went in, I stayed in the car. He was talking to the guy behind the counter, telling him we prefer the indica-dominant hybrids, and indica prerolls. We didn't notice what he had given us until this morning. We looked through our goody bag, to wake and bake, and we had mostly Sativa prerolls. Which is fine, we will smoke it, but call me the picky one because I do not feel the effects of the sativa strains. I medically use for my DDD, arthritis pain, and anxiety. So it was a bummer when we noticed what had happened. It was our fault for not checking before we left the parking lot, but I guarantee from now on we will do just that. And what's more, is when he was reading the names of the "indicas and indica dominant hybrids" and they all ended up being Sativa. Just maybe makes sure the bud tenders pay more attention to the customers needs. I always loved Dunegrass, the other location in TC and especially the Cadillac Dispo, they are all great! We don't usually frequent this store, we usually go downtown and do the dispo's there, but with traffic, we wanted to try somewhere new. My purpose of this isn't to bash the store, just to make sure people pay attention to what they are purchasing, because you can be told one thing and get something completely different. – Elizabeth Kehl (Liz)

I want to leave 4 stars because the people are really great, but I just can't. Been there multiple times, spent $100's of dollars because of how conveniently located it is. Unrolled the top of my prerolls, and it's missing about a 1/4 lol. (I've bought maybe 100+ pre rolls lol) Flower has been dry every time, not just the bottom shelf type either. The customer service is great, but im taking the drive into TC now, and it's worth it tbh. – Scott Cox
