4/20/2026 1:08pm- the date of the incident. My friend, a super loyal customer, and I decide to shop for a good deal and celebrate our holiday. Upon our arrival we were met by a group of 3 staff members eager to share the news about their 4/20 deals. We were most excited about a free goodie bag with a purchase of $100 (pre tax). So we march on to the floor with a plan to hit that $100 (pre tax) target and get the goodie bag. Our budtender greats us enthusiastically and we discuss our intentions to buy just a few nicer products so we can hit our goal quickly and efficiently. The store was a running an 50% off promotion for almost all products which made it harder to spend more money. Instead of helping us our budtender keeps showing us extremely cheap and lower quality products requiring us to purchase more than we wanted to hit $100 (pre tax). We left the establishment with $186 (pre tax and pre discounts) worth of product and no goodie bag. Despite the constant battle with our budtender to find products to increase our total he still forgot to give us the goodie bag. Realizing this mistake, we decide to call the store from the car and explain the issue. The employee on the phone listened to our concerns and then asked what time we came in. We kindly told her we were shopping around 1pm when she immediately snapped back at me that the store ran out of goodie bags around 12pm (very conveniently mentioned after I said 1pm). Even if this was the case, why were employees advertising a deal that was no longer available? I’m disappointed because this was my favorite dispensary in the area however I will now no longer be a customer. – Tara Panagos
