Bait and switch fraudulent pricing and hostile employees. Ordered online for pickup, my itemized receipt including taxes came to $71. When I went to pick it up, the associate Meredith charged me $90. Despite showing my order receipt with the price , she refused to acknowledge the issue and refused to address the price discrepancy as the manager was “not there at the moment”. I was met by her with an incredibly hostile and accusatory response, followed by her returning to the area I was speaking to another associate to further make remarks about how it’s “not that deep”. $20 is not “deep” for some people, but fraudulent dishonest pricing and refusing to acknowledge an order receipt and charging an additional $20 for already overpriced product is kinda deep. Poor customer service to locals in the area excited to support a new business is not deep, but disappointing. The front desk associate I spoke to was very understanding and helpful but ultimately unable to resolve the matter at no fault of his own, and offered to have the manager (who never showed up after about 30 minutes of waiting) contact me. I live in the area and plan to return to speak to the manager. All around really really predatory, dishonest strange vibes and incredibly unprofessional aggressive staff. The neighborhood was stoked about having a local spot, but I would advise anyone to go anywhere else if you want to pay what your receipt states. I’ll update the review I guess if the manager is able to resolve the matter. But I will absolutely never return or advise returning after how unprofessional and rude the associate was behind the counter. – Kayla Paul
