One of the best in the bay. I love that they are in Alameda and are loved by the Alamedans of all walks of life. They are inclusive, they dont judge, they uplift AND they have daily specials and happy hour discount times that can be combined with the daily specials and thats a wonderful mix to find yourself in. never a dull moment at the Park Social. Sometimes they have fairs and lounges. theyre are also very knowledgeable about their products for both humans and pets! – M G R
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great experience all around. The shop had a really welcoming vibe, super clean, and well organized so it was easy to find what I was looking for. The staff were knowledgeable without being pushy—they took the time to answer my questions and gave solid recommendations based on what I wanted. The selection was impressive, with a good mix of quality products at different price points. Everything I picked up was fresh and exactly as described. Checkout was quick and smooth too. First time here and unfortunately not a great experience (Sunday Shift 4pm). We were standing at the bar area for a few minutes with no one else there, and when the employee came over, she talked to us a little and walked away and ended up helping someone who had just walked in before us. At that point, she was still polite and so were we, so we didn’t make a big deal out of it. After we finally made a decision, we were standing there waiting (feeling pretty awkward), and she asked “who’s next?”. We spoke up and said what we would like but then was like “get in line”. I will say there was a man who had just walked up and was waiting in line (very politely I’ll say), even though we were already in front of the bar (the line starts about 10 feet back), but ya’ll we had been there for a minute. Meanwhile, other customers who were already interacting at the bar were being helped without having to go back into the line. I am just confused about the process. If the expectation is that everyone needs to go back to the line before being helped (keep in mind we were the only ones there at a point!), that should be clearly communicated, especially for first-time customers. The whole situation felt confusing and honestly pretty embarrassing. We ended up leaving without purchasing anything. Really disappointing experience over-all.
