Root 66 Dispensary - St. Peters, MO

They say God works in mysterious ways, and Route 66 Dispensary just helped me find my new favorite place! I’ve been a regular for quite some time—often stopping by with or without my motorcycle. This time, though, the supervisor—someone who’s seen me plenty of times—refused to let me in because of my helmet. It was unprofessional and disappointing. Not only that, but it made me realize—Route 66 simply isn’t motorcycle-friendly. If you ride, be prepared: you might not be welcome. So, I took my business to Kind Goods, where they welcomed both me and my helmet. $70 later, I walked out with some Orange 43—which was not only fantastic but at better prices, too. If you ride or just appreciate consistent respect, I’d suggest you consider a more welcoming spot. I know I have! In response to your excuse…… Yes I've done it before in the past and maybe the policy has changed but they didn't even give me a option to perhaps pick it up at the window, the supervisor who has color in hair was very rude, with a racist vibe, I was shocked because she is foreign herself. I'm not the only one to make that observation. Not biker friendly at all and their supervisor racist. But white folks might have a okay experience as long as there willing to pay more. Kind Goods on the other hand served me the same day, with a smile and I had my helmet…… – Chuck G

At this point the only thing good about this dispo is the fact that it's open 24 hours and has a walk-up window. Tonight makes the 4th or 5th time I have ordered from root 66 only for me to get there and oh no it's a mistake oh no we've screwed up again it's starting to feel like bait and switch. When I order something I expect it to be what I order and not I get to the store and it's half the weight or it's not the appropriate item or it's suppose to be a pack but whoops just a single. And then it's sorry we can't do anything but give you a small discount enjoy your bait and switch. I wonder how the board would feel about that. I would say fix it but at this point it feels intentional. – Greg Stratton

Used to love this dispo but however realize they are overpriced. Not only that their attitude from the bud tenders makes me never want to give my money to them. Their “rewards” system is one of the worst I’ve seen in Missouri. Save your time and money and go somewhere else. The only thing keeping this place up is consumers that are willingly supporting this scam company. They stand out with their 24 hour window, but when employees are not even present, and when they do become present by ringing the bell, they are extremely rude and irritated. Overall, if I could give it a negative star I would I can’t Stress how much this dispensary has screwed me over and friends. Head out to sunrise dispensary instead— literally any other dispensary within 10 minutes. You will not be disappointed, but if you go there, you will. – Gabriella Filla

Loved going here until I called for a simple question and was told they couldn’t help me because they had a line…….. do I not count as a customer if I’m on the phone with an employee inquiring about my loyalty program…?!? I’m going somewhere else tonight… that budtender acted like my business did not matter tonight – Christina Marie

This was hands down one of the most unwelcoming places I’ve ever walked into. The attitude from the Indian lady working there was unbelievably rude, cold, and disrespectful from the moment I stepped in. No greeting, no courtesy—just straight hostility for no reason. What really didn’t sit right with me was the clear bias in how customers are treated. I don’t know how you can turn around and be racist or judgmental toward others while being a minority yourself—make that make sense. It’s hypocritical and completely unacceptable. Customer service is the bare minimum in any business, and this place failed miserably. Instead of feeling welcomed, I felt judged and uncomfortable the entire time. Nobody should have to deal with that just for trying to spend their money. Save yourself a headache and go to kindgoods.. – Brittany Glass
