I had such a wonderful experience at Rooted on Newbury Street! The store itself is beautiful and peaceful, with a great selection. But what really stood out was the kindness of the staff. When I was leaving, there was a man outside the store yelling, screaming, and swinging his arms around. It was a bit scary, but the security lady immediately stepped in, stayed calm, and made sure I got out safely and away from the situation. She was so professional and caring, I felt completely protected. Rooted is not just a lovely place to shop, but also a place where they genuinely care about their customers’ safety and comfort. I can’t recommend this store enough! – Grace Wang
This place sold me a $15 used vape. It was a deal day and they were offering $15 vapes on top of my order. From the start I couldn’t get it to work. I finally opened up the top a few weeks later and found no oil inside the Vape. The box it came in was also not sealed and seemed weird compared to the normal box the vape comes in. The weird thing is some oil residue was inside the chamber. So it would appear I was sold a used vape, which is pretty disgusting. This got me thinking, maybe this dispensary was selling customer returned defective vapes that day in different packaging. Package was a miniature card board box that was not sealed that the vape sat in, which is not normal. I did not take a picture of packaging, pretty sure it didn’t have the THC information listed on the side either. Unfortunately this dispensary has the highest prices in the state, they have no reward program for repeat customers, they stopped carrying Dime vapes so they don’t have to participate in “dime days” (2 2g vapes for 1 every 10th of the month for $70), but still have up advertising in the store for the products. Most of the dispensaries carry Dime products except now this place and AYR (another terrible downtown Boston dispensary). This place is all about not trying to give the customer a deal and the deals they do have are old products that need to be sold or a used $15 vapes with no oil. Thank you. Don’t recommend for the prices, lack of deals, and used vapes. – Ed M
My reviews are usually based on mobility-impaired folks and I can say this IS THE SPOT if you want downtown Boston and you need to drive… As you can see in my pictures plenty of places to park at about 9:30 on a weeknight… But this part of the street the stores are all pretty much shut down at this hour and there are at least 5 spots you could park for a few minutes and not get towed or ticketed. As for the weed I'll let you know LOL my first time here very kind, queen, professional, knowledgeable, they follow the law to the letter, and it's good to see because there's so many young people out there but they are not getting it here that's for sure without a valid ID! Bravo guys! – Ashley Tenczar
In town visiting, had an amazing experience! Very kind and personable staff; very well informed about the products. Will be back! – Lions Kitchen
I've never been to a cannabis dispensary in Massachusetts, so I decided to check this place out. Coming from Florida, this concept is really new to me; it's a like a new era, almost like the end of the alcohol prohibition back in the day. Walking in, I waited in a short line to check in; they scan your ID and buzz you in. The place was cleanand organized. I was greeted by a person giving out free cookies (which were delicious). I was helped out immediately by a sales associate and she showed me the kiosk to look for products to order. The whole process was quick and easy. The place was bustling since it's right on the busy Newbury St. Also a big plus is, this place is owned by BIPOC (black, indigenous, and other people there of color). – Kimbodian Speaks
