I frequent this specific location often because of the hospitality & customer service provided by Vince. Today’s (4/4/26) visit definitely left a sour taste in my mouth because of your GM, Kevin. I was calmly having a discussion with Vincent regarding the 3 cartridges I wanted to order along with trying to find out what Vessel batteries you had in stock. Your not-so pleasant GM Kevin definitely felt the need to reprimand me in front of other customers while they were in the store to tell me that I’m not supposed to have product out. I made him aware that I did not know. He felt the need to repeat it to me an additional 2 more times as if I didn’t understand the first time. He didn’t bother himself to introduce himself WHO he was. I had to find out who he was from staff. I was not informed that there was a rule that there are no products allowed out. Despite the rules being what they are – I have no issue following it. What I do not appreciate is to be spoken to like I’m a child by someone who lacks the social skills in HOW to speak to people & in reading the room. Tone & delivery was executed horribly. – Sheena M
went in the other day with my girlfriend and i have an expired ID, so she’s the one who goes back and I usually just wait in the lobby cause her ID is valid and mine isn’t, they usually still don’t ask for both of ours but they did this time its whatever like sure. then this loser makes a comment about my ID “you should work on getting that fixed” and it didnt come off as joking, didnt come off any kind of funny. I just got annoyed because my ID says im from california. like idk dude lets think critically for a second why you’re not looking at a valid ID, Im genuinely across the country from my home. I wasn’t even buying or going into the back, my point is don’t make useless comments “go get that fixed” like whatever officer doofy from scary movie sure ill go get it fixed cause getting identification is so easy when I travel for work so I don’t even live anywhere permanently, and guess what you need for your ID.. ding! an address. – yubin c
I was in such a mood before going in, I’m not always ready for small talk as well but shout out to Isaiah!! for completely switching up my vibe, I love the effortless positivity it flows naturally because it’s genuine. When you encounter that you’ll always walk away smiling, feeling better/different than you started. I’ve been to dispensaries all over the US and I’ve never seen one have deals like this on the products I get so I will definitely be making the drive to come back. – Celeste David
SHANGRI-LA RETURN POLICY IS HORRIBLE, THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR OWN BRAND, ASTEROID. I bought an Asteroid brand cartridge, brought it home to find that it was leaking in the packaging. Ok, it happens. Drive back over within the hour and I’m told the “vault” guy isn’t there and they can’t process a return or exchange without them. Ok, fine. I go back a day when I’m told he will be there and start the process, I’m told by the employee I can either get the same product or store credit in the form of points. No option for cash refund. Ok, fine. I don’t want the same faulty product, which seems to be a batch issue because everyone knew exactly what product I was trying to return. So I choose store credit to get a different cartridge. General Manager comes out saying new policy is they can only do an exchange for the same product. No store credit. RIDICULOUS. When asked where I can read the return policy, he had no answer. He then for some reason tested the LEAKY, STICKY cartridge on his testing device saying that if it registered when tested then just clean it off and I’m stuck with the obviously leaking cart. RIDICULOUS. After a back and forth the exchange is finally processed and the GM walks me outside to test the cart before leaving. IT’S LEAKING JUST LIKE THE FIRST ONE. He then AGAIN puts a STICKY, LEAKING cartridge on his device and it doesn’t register. ONLY THEN does he say he will process the return as store credit and I can get a different cartridge. After two trips to the store and 45 minutes wasted waiting for the employees to process the return, they finally got right what should have been a quick and easy exchange. Until this horrible policy is changed I will AVOID shopping here in the future and will advise anyone else to do the same. – Elliot Nessie
I went into the location today to purchase a vape. I asked for a vape pen, but I was sold a cartridge for $60. When I got home, I called and said, “Hey, you guys sold me a cartridge when I wanted a pen.” I was told that I could come back to the store and return the cartridge because they had given me the wrong product. When I went back to the store, I was told by a manager named Kyrie that they weren’t going to return it, even though I bought it 30 minutes earlier, because “there’s nothing wrong with it.” He also said that I should have said I wanted a disposable. I told him I asked for a pen, so how did that turn into a cartridge? He said it was my responsibility to specify that I wanted a disposable. I’m giving you guys three days to refund my money, including the gas I spent driving back, or you can type my name into the Stamford Superior Court database and see how many companies I sue for situations like this. A $60 issue can easily turn into a $10k+ problem. – Brandon Vernon
