Today I had an uncomfortable and disappointing experience with the manager, Brian, and an associate (long brown hair and beard, later confirmed as Blake). I was informed that I could not use a rewards offer in combination with a “special.” This was confusing, as I have visited this location approximately 5–6 times previously and was allowed to do this without issue. At no point in the past was I told this was a one-time courtesy or that the policy would no longer be honored going forward. If this is an official policy change, it should be clearly communicated to customers upfront to avoid inconsistent experiences and confusion. During the interaction, the associate (Brian) interjected into the conversation in a raised and confrontational tone while I was being assisted by the manager. This escalated the situation unnecessarily and felt unprofessional. When I asked the manager for the associate’s name for reference in my feedback, he initially refused to provide it and told me not to worry about it, which felt dismissive and unhelpful. Overall, this visit was handled poorly compared to my prior experiences at this location. The lack of clear communication, inconsistent policy enforcement, and unprofessional handling of customer concerns made this visit frustrating. Good atmosphere, friendly staff, Nice selection, just started checking it out. Will look around more on my next visit. So far a good variety is here. Want to try their edibles. Misplaced my card & have to update it. I downloaded my certificate on my phone. I just needed my id. It's a very decent place. Come check it out.
