The Cake House is a little treasure here in North County. They have a great, diverse selection from top shelf to affordable, including some of the best, like Decibel Gardens, BLEM and CBX. Solid mid-grade options are aplenty, such as CAM, Northern Harvest, and Maven, and most importantly, their price is right. Lots of discounts for brands you actually *want* to buy, rotating throughout the week, means you're often saving money here. Giving a special shoutout here to Summer, who is at the top of her game. She knows the history of weed brands, she has excellent taste, and I've always been satisfied and impressed with her suggestions. I had such a great experience here. The whole team was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely knowledgeable. I had a great conversation with Earl and Atlas, and I really appreciated how much they knew about the brands, their backgrounds, and which companies are woman-owned. As someone who has been going to dispensaries for years and has also worked in the industry, I was pleasantly surprised by how thoughtful and informed the experience was. This is my favorite dispensary. Ive been to many and all had a few points i didn't like, too crowded or service was awful. The cake house, everytime has been awesome. Plenty of product and lots of sales. Every day something is on sale and plenty of different products to choose from. I HIGHLY recommend it. Especially for folks that don't like pushy salespeople or super crowded small spaces, or long lines to stand in. Its welcoming, plenty of staff around if you do need help.
