The Forest Dispensary - Kansas City

I’m an old guy who never really learned so much about all of the details like terrines and thx levels and such. Let’s just say that I have learned just enough to be a bit confused now and then. My personal experiences at the Forest have always been very happy and rewarding. But, today I encountered Sarah, the bud tender, and, as she said, I asked all the right questions! She was awesome! She knew her stuff! Sarah hooked me up with something that was just what I was looking for. The flower is wonderful. Hand trimmed, icky sticky, nice aroma, fresh and still having life to it. And I am very happy about this taste test I’m doing. Thank you, Sarah! Also, I notice frequently that other patrons are often happy to make suggestions – and they usually give great advice! So this place has a lot to offer and it’s all good! It is my favorite spot. Yes, the taste test is going better than I expected, so I had best be on my way. I highly recommend this place and say “Hi” to Sarah! – Michael Derby

I was helped knowledgeable female named Stevie. She was beyond respectful and very very knowledgeable pertaining to everything I asked her. Not just Stevie but the rest of your staff makes me want to come back there every time. Much appreciation. I usually visit your store 2 to 3 times a week to try out new strands of flour and the only thing I could ask from you guys is to alleviate the government from your operation, haha. I wish we could all go back in time, before loyalty was suspended for nearly 2 years and definitely before the website was turned into whatever it is today. I will continue to visit until a closer newer dispensary opens this spring, for lack of a more convenient local option that isn't gas station weed. I've been a patron since day one but at this point, I travel downtown via public transport rather than walk 20 minutes to patronize The Forest. Prices online don't match what I'm charged in house. The website absolutely sucks compared to the ease of the original. The staff is awesome and I hope they find new homes before Spring. Support local, but support better local. I'd rather ride the streetcar with the suburban suburbanites than walk in peace to be overcharged and not be able to easily scroll a pathetic website. Thanks for years of awesome operation, but I'd rather go blindly into any other dispensary at this point. And yes, it is due to the website issues, mostly. Probably the best place ever! First time in a dispensary and it was crazy! They pressed a button and we walked into another room in the back. We picked out everything we wanted and they were having an amazing deal so we got more than what we initially was going to get. Mariah was out budtender and she did an amazing job explaining the deal and the strains and etc. We got to checked out and they don't do tap pay!! 😭😭😭 we didn't have cash or physical card so we scrambled trying to figure out. In the lobby they have an ATM that has tap pay! The only thing that sucks is its a 3.50 charge on the ATM and my bank also has a $3 fee so it costed us an extra $6! Other than I think yall need to update and get tap to pay everything was fantastic Nick and Bell were absolutely beautiful people! They were understanding alongside Mariah with us not having a physical card and didn't make us feel awkward and they kept our stuff in a bag in the back ready for when we figured it out! So checkout was super quick. 10/10 recommend this place. – Britney Franz
