True North Cannabis Co - Midland Dispensary

I was a loyal weekly customer at True North for years but unfortunately this store has gone seriously downhill. My final straw was being sold a moldy ounce, which is completely unacceptable. What kept me coming back before was the staff especially Ben, who was always friendly, welcoming and incredibly knowledgeable about products and strains. He genuinely cared about helping customers find what worked for them and he is definitely missed. Since several employees left the atmosphere has completely changed. The manager was covering shifts my last few visits and the experience was disappointing. She wasn’t pleasant, and when I asked about a few different strains she had no knowledge about them. For a cannabis store product knowledge should be a basic expectation. The welcoming vibe, knowledgeable staff and quality service that once made this place stand out are gone. I haven’t been back since, and sadly I can’t recommend it anymore. – Jessica Sheerin

Well this is my regular cannabis store. I'm such a regular that I don't even usually bring my I d that they recognize me. My brother and I walk into the store and we're listening to the owners.Speak to customers who are asking for a certain thing. And she gives them something else, not what they ask for. Then, proceeds to ask me and my brother, who are both over 35 for I d.. No, I understand asking the person who is purchasing for the I.D but she gets rude with me after I say to her.I'm not even buying anything.Number one and number two look at me.I'm forty years old… The lady was rude. And decided to lip me off as I was walking down the street…. Instead of organizing her back room, what she was complaining about so much. This is just changed from my regular weed store to me never going back there again On principle. Super sad she was so upset about the state of her back room that she had to take it out on me. A regular paying customer considering I've spent probably thousands there. I think it's time for me to take my business elsewhere. What a shame I really enjoyed the employees. I feel really bad that that's their boss.. what kinda owner yells out the window at people.. pretty immature. Pretty unprofessional. But seems like she doesn't know anything about her own business. Clearly, she has no idea who the regulars are. Super glad she clarified that she was the boss and not an employee.. Because now I know what kind of business she conducts. Sorry, truenorth. I really enjoyed the time that I bought stuff from you but.. After that, not so friendly experience, and then she literally tries to bribe my brother with five percent off to give her a five star review. . Then, proceeds to yell out the door at me.. what a shame.. well here's your review… Bet she didn't know i have over two million views….. In which it's really unfair because your employees are so nice and friendly..I feel really bad for them because they deserve the good review. Also I feel really bad for you not knowing your own job. You're actually not allowed to ID anyone that's not making a purchase. That's why you're not allowed to ask Id at the door anymore…. But that's okay!👍 have my cannsell.. looks like buds for less is the way to goooo!! JON THE OWNER IS SUCH A NICE GUY!!!!!!! Do yourself a favor and don't bring your anger from home to work with you. BEST downtown prices and friendliest staff! I always get served by either a nice lady with coloured hair or a guy with long hair and a septum ring and they're both absolutely rays of sunshine! Love this place. – Cassydi Madeley

This is one of our favourite shops around. The staff is fantastic they always have a positive attitude & make it easy to order. As for the store, this location has alot of great products. – Amylynn Paula
