Whether you're a medical patient or shopping recreationally, the team at Zen Leaf is always helpful. Everyone I've interacted with has been friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to answer questions without making you feel like you're being rushed through the line. They know their products and can actually explain the differences instead of just pointing you toward a shelf. The building is clean, updated, and welcoming, with a large parking lot so finding a spot is never an issue. The whole experience is efficient and well organized from start to finish. They also have some merch available inside, which was a fun surprise. The only complaint I have is they need to add hats and hoodies to the lineup. I arrived at Zenleaf and had a pre-order waiting for me. I am a medical patient not rec. I always order vapes for my insomnia. Sometimes I ask to confer with the pharmacist and then I pay for my order..very basic. Today I was helped by Tatyana. I could not believe the service she gave me. She reviewed my order and said “I don’t think what you selected is a good “fit” for your insomnia”. She proceeded to look in the computer for something that would be more effective. She even went to check with the pharmacist. I was completely blown away and she gave me a different product. I don’t usually get this unsolicited service so I have to say that Tatyana is a very special employee!! – Kathy Namm
I was warmly greeted at the front, and then I proceeded to the main area. Kaylena, a friendly staff member, assisted me at her register. She was incredibly helpful in explaining all my options and addressing my needs. She even went above and beyond to help me find exactly what I was looking for, and I even received assistance from Zelest at the same time. This location makes you feel valued and heard. The overall environment is great, and they always cover all your cannabis needs. – amie
I did one star as it won’t let me leave a 0 0 stars!!!! 😠 I was actually quite surprised by the treatment that I received today. Being a medical patient for six years now and this was a terrible and shocking experience. Ya they were busy and if you’re in the customer service department then you need to have some sort of professional kindness and patience. He was so rude and told me I need to shop at only one dispensary for a faster check out. Never did I complain and he sure did I was waiting patiently and he comes out all aggravated that it took a min longer if that. I asked if any rules changed to be told I should shop at Only that dispensary for speedy checkout I don’t need speedy checkout I am medical and what I need is the correct meds at the best price. I usually get better discounts and products I prefer elsewhere and this is a few mins from my house. I will Never return to Naugatuck again as I already have anxiety disorder and don’t need to be nervous about how I will be treated as this was the worst experience by far 0 stars Recommend anyone who reads this take the ride to Waterbury they are not only kind they are funny and I always leave with a smile. Today I left shaking and upset and that’s avoidiable by hiring kind workers not mean ones who are rushing you out the door we should be welcomed and never pushes away – Sarah A
