Once again, I’m here to complain about the incredibly long lines. I’m not sure if this location has a high attrition rate or if management is intentionally cutting hours, but anytime after 5 PM there are usually only two people working the counter occasionally three at most. Placing an online order which is called “express pickup” doesn’t actually save any time. Medical patients and premium “Cabbage” members are automatically given priority, with their own dedicated lines, allowing them to bypass the express pickup line entirely. As a result, even if there are 10 people waiting for express pickup, a medical patient or premium member can walk in and be served immediately. What should be a quick pickup for a single item regularly turns into a 20–30 minute wait, and sometimes as long as 45 minutes. The system feels poorly managed and defeats the purpose of online ordering and express pickup altogether. The cashier staff is extremely friendly and know their workflow quite well. This is simply an ongoing staffing issue with 8-9 total cashier stations but staffed by 2-3 people max serving a ratio of 10-15 customers at all times leading to 30-45min wait time for pickups. – Ahmad Shahzad

I placed an order online for express pickup. I get in the store, there's only two people at the register, 6 people in line, and each transaction is taking 5-9 minutes because of conversation. I only came here because I had a promo. Other workers came out to conversate and not ring people up, didn't apologize for the wait, nothing. Whats the point of ordering and paying ahead for "express pickup" when there is NOTHING express about it. False advertisement and misleading information to bring people in. I'll only be using them for when i get a promo or discounts. Not my preferred store, nor would I come here for convenience. Just not worth it. And to top it off, there was a qr code to download the app, but apparently the app doesn't work in "illinois" how convenient… – Cortez Young

this place is painful to be at unless you are the only person in line. not ONE of the employees works with urgency. they will leave a line of recreational shoppers 10 people deep and keep grabbing medical customers. they don’t need pot before full price customers. if it’s an emergency go to the ER. no one communicates to people waiting why they are being ignored. at the moment only 3 of the 8 people behind the counter are actually helping people. if there was ANYWHERE else in evanston i’d go there instead. i don’t care about the volume of other guest orders, it’s not my problem. staff better, teach efficiency, expect communication. i don’t want an apology and a copy paste reply. i want this to get better – Jason McNulty

I visit once a week and I love the store. All your staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I've never had to wait very long and I'm a recreational customer. I do usually shop during the day. My only complaint is I had an interview scheduled and nobody called. – Amy Gordon
